About Me

Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, I share my life with my husband, who, like me, is an educator! My greatest joys come from spending time with my family: my husband and our sons, Hudson and Hunter, as well as our daughter, Kayla. I find immense satisfaction in cheering on my son and husband and their teams, and I have a deep passion for traveling.

Professionally, I am certified to teach grades Pk-5 and hold certifications in Guidance and Counseling Pk-12. With 19 years of experience in education, I hold a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Georgia Southern University, a Master of Arts in School Counseling from Argosy University, and a Specialist Degree in Counseling and Supervision from The University of West Georgia. Recently, I completed my doctoral degree at The University of West Georgia in Counseling and Supervision.

In my counseling practice, I employ a solution-focused approach. My areas of expertise and interest include providing short-term counseling for issues like anxiety, stress, peer relationships, family challenges, and grief.
